Ross joined the Army straight out of high school, serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment on three combat deployments overseas. Between deployments he applied and was accepted to West Point, joining the Class of 2007. At West Point he was the captain of the Combat Marksmanship Team and a member of the Brigade Respect Council. He graduated with a B.S. in History and a concentration in Computer Science. After graduating from West Point Ross joined the 1st Cavalry Division, where he spent five years, to include another deployment to Baghdad. While deployed he was tasked to create, equip, and train an elite Iraqi Commando unit which partnered in operations with U.S. special operations forces such as the 75th Rangers and Navy SEALs. Currently, Ross is an MBA Candidate at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. He is set to graduate in May of 2016 and is prepared to join your team in June. His goal is to join an exciting, fast moving tech company near Washington, D.C. with a role in marketing, sales, or strategy. Ross is a proficient front end developer, with experience using HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Ross is in the process of expanding his expertise by studying principles of design, full stack Javascript, and data science with R and Python. Passions include hiking with his two Siberian Huskies, exploring Virginia viticultural regions, and participating in marksmanship competitions.
